Challenge1: To design a pair of suspended trousers that have a molded and reinforced material surrounding his lower extremities. It will be in contact with various surfaces. Whatever material used should be fitted to the contour of his remaining lower extremities.

• Reinforced seams

Challenge2: To create a set of gloves that protect not only the knuckles but the entire posterior aspect of his hands. It should be rigid over the joints and finger bones but allow for movement of the joints. The palms and fingers do not have to be rigid on the anterior aspect of the glove but should be elastic in nature and durable.
