About Our Challengers

The QL+ Program brings together America’s talented engineering students at leading universities to create life-transforming and novel assistive technologies for our country’s service members, veterans and first responders with disabilities and medical conditions. All of our projects are provided free of charge to these patriots.

At QL+ we realize people continue to fight to overcome their physical challenges. That’s why we call our program participants “Challengers.” QL+ projects help our Challengers with significant aspects of their lives, enabling them to be more independent, more mobile, and better able to participate in recreational activities and sports.

The QL+ process begins with the recruitment of Challengers with life-altering injuries and debilitating medical conditions. Leveraging the talents of engineering students at selected universities, QL+ identifies specific obstacles in the Challenger’s life that can be eased or overcome through a custom assistive device or prosthetic modification – an innovative solution not otherwise available on the market.

Our website contains information on our Challengers, the solutions created, and our partner universities. We welcome the opportunity to work with you and your family to improve your quality of life. Contact us here if you would like to become a QL+ Challenger.
